Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W.) Advice to Abu Dhar

On of the most valuable and precious narrations from Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.)is the advices he gave to Abu Dhar, which is known as the narration of Abu Dhar due to its great importance and the fact that Abu Dhar is addressed by the Prophet(S.A.W.)successively.
The subjects included in this narration are so vast and presented in so many moral and educative forms that every person can benefit from it according to his own desire; everyone has the opportunity to select the most appropriate advice which has an influence on his soul; thus, this narration is somehow a kind of miracle.
…Then, Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.)gives his advices to Abu Dhar:
I am giving you advise so remember it, for surely it is the collection of (all) the paths of goodness. Surely if you memorize them and put them into practice, you will have by it two folds of mercy, in this world and the hereafter.
O Abu Dhar! Worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you weren't seeing Him, He sees you.
O Abu Dhar! Know you that the first of worship of Allah is gnosis, for He is surely the first before every other thing, so there is nothing before Him, The single most without any second, the continuing but not to an end. He is the Creator of the heavens and earth and whatever is in them and between them; and He is the Subtle, the Aware, and He has power over all things…
O Abu Dhar! There are two blessings seriously taken for granted by mankind, health and spare time.
O Abu Dhar! Take advantage of five things before five things seize you; your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your spare time before your being busy and your life before you death…
O Abu Dhar! Beware that may not overtake you a fatal accident during stumbling. The stumbling will not be averted. It will not be possible to return (to correct your mistake). Will not praise you the one you left behind of what you left behind. Will not excuse you the Almighty Allah, of what you were so busy conducting.
O Abu Dhar! He who seeks knowledge to deceive by it others will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.
O Abu Dhar! Surely Allah, when He wills good for a servant, he puts his sins before his two eyes. When he wills bad for a servant, he makes him forget his sins.
O Abu Dhar! He whose words conform to his deed is the one who has attained his share of prosperity. He whose words don't conform to his deed will only reproach himself at the time of reward...
O Abu Dhar! Surely a man’s sustenance is prohibited (from reaching him) because of a sin he committed.
O Abu Dhar! Smart is the one who subjugates himself and acts for that which is after death, and weak is the one who follows his self and its caprice and then hopes in Allah so many a hope.
Oh Abu Dhar! Surely Allah, revealed to my brother - Jesus, "O Jesus! Don't love the world for surely I don't love it and love the Hereafter .."1
