The Complete Nahjul Balagha Compiled in 8 Volumes

Nahjul Balagha comprises the sermons, letters and maxims of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.). The sermons, letters and maxims of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.) were collected by the great scholar of Islam, Allamah Sayyid Razi about a thousand years ago in Iraq. But Allamah Sayyid Razi was able to collect only a part of the sermons, letters and maxims of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.).
Thus, a Lebanese Shia scholar Hojjat al-Islam Sayyid Sadiq Musavi, a resident of Beirut started collecting all the sermons, letters and maxims of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.) from the libraries in the world.
It took 18 years of incessant work on his behalf to collect all the sermons, letters and maxims of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.). For this purpose he visited more than 150 libraries in India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, UK, France, USA, Spain and Canada and referred more than seventy thousand books.
All the sermons, letters and maxims of Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (A.S.) have been collected by him in eight volumes in Arabic is entitled "Tamam Nahjul Balagha" [The Complete Nahjul Balagha] and contains 800 subjects.
Hojjat al-Islam Sayyid Sadiq Musavi completed this great task in Beirut during the 33 days invasion of Lebanon by the Zionist army in the summer of 2006 and under heavy bombardment of Beirut by the Zionist warplanes.
