Melli Garden:
It is located in the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Avenue in the heart of the city and occupies one hectare area.

Kooh Sangi Park:
This park has been recently developed and expanded as the largest recreation center and is located in the south of the holy city at the end of Dr Ali Shariati Avenue. This beautiful park is
situated on the outskirts of the southern mountains of the holy city of Mashhad.

Mellat Park:
It is located in the west of the city alongside Vakilabad boulevard with an area of 720000 square meters. It is considered as one of the most beautiful parks in the holy city of Mashhad.

Vakilabad Park:
It is located in the south-west of Mashhad suburbs. The distance from the city to the park is 8 kilometres.

Kuhistan Park-e- Shadi:
It is located beside the Vakilabad park on the hills around it. This park consists of most modern recreation facilities for the children and youth.
Mirza Kouchak Khan Jangali Park:
It is located in East Danesh avenue near Imam Reza (A.S.) Bazaar.

Band Golestan (Golestan Dam):
It is located at a point 18 kilometres from Mashhad in the south-west of the city. There are many gardens and parks in this mountainous area.

This mountainous area is located 38 kilometres away from south-west of the holy city of Mashhad and has many springs and gardens.

Toroq Dam:
It is located in the south-east of Mashhad upon Toroq river. It is 25 kilometres away from Mashhad.

Kardeh Dam:
The Kardeh river and dam are located 20 kilometres away from Mashhad from the end of Khwajeh Rabie Avenue towards Kalat road.

Cheshmeh Gilas (Cherry Fountain):
This fountain is located at a distance of 50 kilometres north-west of Mashhad and 21 kilometres from Ferdowsi's shrine.

Bazangan Lake:
It is located 125 kilometres off Mashhad on the Sarakhs road, south of Hezar Masjid mountains.

Shahan Garmab (Hot Spring):
It is located at a point 140 kilometres off south-west of Mashhad on the top of a mountain. The temperature of the water in the hot spring reaches 48C and its waters is used by the patients suffering from rheumatism and skin diseases.

Fariman Dam:
It is located 86 kilometres off southeast of Mashhad near the Fariman city.
Akhlamad Waterfalls:
The two water falls are located at a point 84 kilometres from Mashhad, alongside Quchan highway and about 16 kilometres away from Asian Highway.

This beautiful town full of enchanting gardens is located at a distance of 21 kilometres south-west of Mashhad and 5 kilometres to Torghabeh.

Moghan Cave:
It is 30 kilometres away from the holy city of Mashhad. This cave has two entrances, one big and the other small. There are stagnant water ponds with stalactites and stalagmites in it.

This beautiful town located in a mountainous area is situated at a point 18 kilometres from Mashhad, in the south-western direction of the city. It is located after the Vakilabad park and the Kuhistan Park-e- Shadi. There are many gardens and parks in this hilly township.
