The enemy’s activities based on creating discord and division have always been there at every stage of the life. These people sometimes sow the seeds of discord and division among Muslim nations and sometimes create conflict and division among Islamic sects.
However, the enemy has been investing more in provoking Shia-Sunni differences and most of the heavy blows that the Muslim structure has suffered are because of this very Shia Sunni differences. Hazard Ayatullah Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei has repeatedly made aware that Shia and Sunni differences as such a tool which is exploited by the enemy very easily, which makes the Islamic Ummah to suffer.
Shia and Sunni Conflict – A Plot of Enemy
You should know that those who provoke Shia against Sunnis and Sunnis against the Shia, they actually neither like Shia nor Sunnis. They are in fact the enemies of Islam.
ÑõÍóãÂÁõ Èóیúäóªõãú ‘Compassionate among themselves’ 48:29 means that the Muslims should be compassionate among themselves. The enemy tries its most from both the sides. One the one side he promotes extremism both in love and hatred (Ghulov and Nasibiyat) and declares Shia as stern enemies of Sunnis and unfortunately that some ignorant and pseudo-religious people agree to it and on the other he instigates Shia too for insulting the sacred things of the Sunnis. The enemy’s plot is that both the sects should come in confrontation against each other. This confrontation comes into existence for the annihilation of both the communities, which should not happen. I have asked Shia and Sunni ulama that it is good that you are talking about unity and I too am thankful to you, but if you are not negligent about the plots and deceptions of the enemy, he will make infiltration from the ways that you might be ignorant about that and your attention may not be towards it. Therefore you need to be vigilant and in what disguise he maybe

You can certainly recognize them by the tone of their speech’ 47:30. Therefore, the enemy is identified by his words.
All Shia, Sunni, all Iranians and the world of Islam may know that Shia Sunni difference and division is a tool for the enemies of Islam against Muslim Ummah that these people exploit it from every possible way. They neither respect the Shia, nor they have any regard for Sunnis; they are absolutely the enemies of Islam. The difference is a fatal for the world of Islam. It is disunity that while separating the nations, cause discord in the hearts. All this is mischief of the enemy. Why don’t we try to understand?
Shia Sunni Conflict – One of the Plots of Enemy
The conflict among Shia Sunni is one of the bit plots of enemies. They provoke a biased, stupid and one who is ignorant to the world scenario and morality group of the people to confront the Islamic sects. They make these confrontations in Iraq in one way, in Lebanon by some other ways in other regions in order to create differences.
Our Muslim brethren, whether they are in Iran or in Pakistan, Lebanon and Palestine or in any region of the world, or if they belong to any sect or religion know what our viewpoint is. Also the rightful ulama of Islam are of the opinion that staining hands with the blood of a Muslim is an unforgiveable offence. Can a Muslim kill any other Muslim, while following Islam? Can he do it while being a Muslim; it is tantamount to blasphemy. All should know that the brotherly relations of Iranian nation with other Muslim nations are based on true brotherhood. The religious and sectarian differences are at their own place.
Shia is Shia and the Sunni is Sunni at their respective places. There is religious and ideological differences between the two, but both of them have to live like brothers beneath the banner of ‘There is No god except Allah’ and ‘Muhammad is the Messenger of God’. They have to remain steadfast to resist against the enemies Islamic Ummah.
